My Craft Addiction

I found so many craft project ideas and tips by reading other's craft blogs that I decided to start my own about what my husband nicely refers to as my craft addiction. I like to experiment with crafts of all kinds. As a result, I have more projects started than I could probably ever finish.

My latest addiciton is folding paper in an attempt to make purses. I discovered bracelet making by accident. My Relay for Life team is going to make them to sell at our Relay next month. The purse still needs some work. I have to finish the flap and I didn't quite get the hang of sewing it together until I was halfway done.

Hey, hey, hey!! I think you will really enjoy your purse making now that you know how to sew them together. I have made several now and it seems each time I make one, I find a new trick that makes it easier, things that no one else has told you about, but also, I know why they haven't because it's too hard to try to explain in words, it would be so much easier to have a work shop and show how it's done!!

I love the bracelets, but have never done any, I think I might just have to give it a go!

I think you will like your blog too, its a great way to meet lots of cool people with like interest at heart! Thanks for the add at Ravelry, I hope you enjoy that too, it too me a long time to get the knack of that, but it was my own fault since I didn't really try, talk about having too many projects to possibly ever get finished girl!! If you are like me, you will be adding to that list on that sight!!! I have so many things I want to make now, but I mostly only stick to the free patterns and down loads since I have so many I want to make, I don't dare buy any, I will feel guilty if they sit unworked if I actually paid money for the pattern!

I look forward to seeing how your purse finishes up! You will be amazed at how many comments you get about it, I have been using the one I made for myself for 10 months now, it's wearing strong and looks great still, and I can't go anywhere with out at least one comment on it! Its a good ice breaker and conversation starter. Well, I guess I should have emailed you instead of leaving a long comment like this!

Yeap, i have the same feeling like what nan said enjoy making the purse, my brother said he rather go for fishing , for him is too troublesome. I also fine new trick each time i make the purse, and what you say is true, without the real experience of making one,the purse look so hard to make. I believe only those that like making craft can understand how we feel.
